Fachada

A music and multimedia show that followed the influence of the African slaves on the culture of Latin America, tracing its rhythmic roots through the sounds of the drum as it embodies the music of various of its heritage streams. With over 30 artists on stage, the performance was co-produced by Eyal Chipkiewicz and Daniel J. Márquez, in collaboration with visual artist María Peña and the Frankston Arts Centre, and marked both the opening and closing ceremonies of the VIII Ventana Festival at the Frankston Arts Centre.
