A creative inquiry into individuality and expression. Katherine Gailer and Eyal Chipkiewicz will lead a workshop that combines storytelling, writing, drawing and conversation to tap into the creative expression of individuality that will inspire the design of the Painting Community, Singing Diversity mural.

Painting Community, Singing Diversity is a collaborative project to create a mural that celebrates diversity. Led by visual artist Katherine Gailer and muralist Lucy Lucy, the design will be developed in consultation with the community and painting it will be open to community participation.

The last 6 weeks of online consultation have been all about encouraging people to visit their individuality and share their story. These face to face sessions are the next step of the process that will culminate with a weekend of participative painting of the mural on Dec. 7 and 8.
