Cooking up a Convo with Jaime Wilson – Immigrant Theatre
In Australia the concept of migration is part of our daily vocabulary. Jaime Wilson discusses the distinction between immigrant and universal art, drawing on his own vast experience as a migrant and theatre person. As historian Robert Harney pointed out, immigrant theatre, more than any other institution, served to “affirm the existence of ethnic community.”
