If eyes are the window to the soul, voice is the door to the heart. Xinging Workshop is an invitation to find your unique voice at its maximum expression. Through breathing, singing, clapping, improvising, together we will find the way to sing just for fun and let ourselves discover all the potential we hold as an individual and in community. Ximena Abarca is a Chilean/Australian singer-songwriter whose career took off in 2003 when she won a TV singer’s contest in Chile. Since then she hasn’t stopped playing and recording. One of the highlights in her career was to be the voice over for Hi- 5 Latin America, as Kimmy, transmitted through Discovery Channel. Over the years her style has evolved from pop to world fusion sounds. Moving from Chile to Australia led her to bring to her music her roots and nostalgia of a faraway land.
