Para vomitar palabras y nadar en la claridad. Escribe desde que tiene memoria\, en blogs que ahora nadan perdidos en la galaxia digital y en cuadernos de hojas blancas\, sin líneas ni estructuras. Realizó varios talleres de escritura en Buenos Aires\, con Liliana Costa Staksrud\, Santiago Llach y Juli Troielli\, con quien empezó a sumergirse en la poesía. DESCRIPTION:Cooking up a Convo with Arnold Zable – The power of story: A writer’s journey\n\n\n\n\nDrawing on three decades as a writer of fiction and non-fiction\, ranging from short story and features\, to novels and memoir\, Zable will explore the inspirations\, sources of ideas\, and lessons learnt in confronting the empty page\, and bringing many works to fruition. The journey has led to an understanding of the power of story\, and how to give voice to oneself\, and how to inspire others to find their voice. \nArnold Zable is an acclaimed writer\, novelist\, storyteller\, and human rights advocate. His books include Jewels and Ashes\, Cafe Scheherazade\, The Fig Tree\, Scraps of Heaven\, Sea of Many Returns\, Violin Lessons and The Fighter. He is the author of numerous essays\, columns\, features\, stories\, and works for theatre. A guest lecturer in universities in Australia and internationally\, he has run workshops with refugees\, immigrants\, the homeless\, the deaf\, Black Saturday bushfire survivors and others using writing as a means of self-understanding. SUMMARY:Recital de A Voz Limpia
DESCRIPTION:A Voz Limpia is a poetry collective and independent publisher. It gathers storytellers and writers of all persuasions\, mostly from Latin America\, mostly in Spanish\, mostly in Australia. Since 2016\, the group reads once a month at free\, public events\, and has been invited to participate in several festivals and events. A Voz Limpia has published 6 books (3 anthologies featuring over 70 poets in total\, and 3 author books). On this occasion\, the group will gather to present a reading of original writings from six of its regular participants: Raul Sanchez Urribarri\, Grace Amigo\, Oscar Socias\, Cloé Karagozlu\, Alfredo Muñoz and Kalindi Victoria. \nA Voz Limpia es un colectivo de poesía y editorial independiente que reúne poetas\, cuentistas y escritores de toda naturaleza en su mayoría Latinoamericanos\, en su mayoría en español\, en su mayoría en Melbourne. Desde 2016 el grupo convoca una lectura mensual y ha participado en eventos y festivales. Ha publicado 6 libros (3 antologías que comprenden el trabajo de más de 70 poetas y 3 poemarios de autor). Para esta ocasión\, A Voz Limpia presentará una lectura de textos originales de seis de sus participantes regulares: Raul Sanchez Urribarri\, Grace Amigo\, Oscar Socias\, Cloé Karagozlu\, Alfredo Muñoz and Kalindi Victoria. \nSupported by Victorian Multicultural Commission
