SUMMARY:Spanish through Song with Ximena Abarca
DESCRIPTION:Spanish through Song is a workshop created to help kids learn Spanish through music in a fun and playful way. Using original songs\, the workshop will teach children vocabulary as well as rhythm\, team work and confidence. Parents are encouraged to participate. \nXimena Abarca is a Chilean/Australian singer-songwriter whose career took off in 2003 when she won a TV singer’s contest in Chile. Since then she hasn’t stopped playing and recording. One of the highlights in her career was to be the voice over for Hi- 5 Latin America\, as Kimmy\, transmitted through Discovery Channel. Over the years her style has evolved from pop to world fusion sounds.
